Poem of the day 4-19
Fall
in a hallow,
to follow
the shadow
of the shallow breath
that haunts
the one
hunted
in the night.
Poem of the Day 4-17
Dream Reel
Dreams can be real
like nightmares,
sometimes the two
trade places.
Some people
dream only at night,
while others,
do it all day long,
but at night,
does the dream come true?
Or turn to real life
fear?
A daymare
could happen
to anyone
who believes
in dreams that come true,
in the day,
night
or reality
that is what
we live.
Poem of the day 4/11 and 4/12
My tea
is mighty
when it punches me
with flavors and zing.
Your anus
is Uranus,
a true destination happily unknown.
Their
is the air
in which all others breathe.
We see
is the wee sea
in our hearts
full of love.
Poem of the day 4-9 and 4-10
Passion,
falls
when
green eyes
take over
the sight.
The darkness
has covered
a once bright
beautiful pasture
of emotions.
Poem of the day 4/7/12
Happiness
can be a tear on a cheek,
or mile long grin.
Sadness can be
looking into the eyes
of a love,
or wallowing
in a sea of tears.
Anger can be
squeezing
so tight,
or letting go
so emotionally.
We emote,
the way we
feel. We feel
the way
we emote.
Poem of the day 4/6/12
Forgot
The beat
For a split
Second,
Time divides,
And multiplying
sighs,
Treble, bass
Trembling
Sing-song voice
Of the hour,
Fly by,
Step by step,
Do not blink
And let the eyes
Flutter the rhyme.
Poem of the day 4/5/12
My Little Day Every Little Day
Love
Every
Day
Poem of the day
Stars and Stuff
Empires rise up,
never a chance to get a strike
at the alley of our choice,
but instead we go home
and cook leeks in woks
and jab the strawberries
with the wok, like an i
before e, except
after the c situation,
of nostalgia,
of the dark,
rebels collide
in this idea
to form a path
to the sky,
walkers of the day.
National Poetry Month!
As a poet, I should be doing this. Poem a day, eh? Well, a few days late in the game, but here goes: Shrill the Twill of Light If we are to learn to embrace the dark with the light, then it is critical we welcome the night, for its lightly hues and dark hollow sky, with the sparks that are apparent written deep into it, oh so high. The double meaning of swallowed sounds can be what happens when...
